Business Description: Las Vegas Vertical Farms is a multidimensional business that grows organic produce hydroponically, generates energy, and provides an interactive educational experience for tourists. La Vegas Vertical Farms is a joint-venture project with the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) that will be built next to the Springs Preserve.

Our patented technology converts harmful CO2 emission to clean energy which is used as fuel for automobiles. Our technology is not only a green solution for it removes damaging emissions but also a green product for it operates on solar energy and is independently run day or night.

The modifications to the appliance implement efficient and sensible responses to the Utility company to save energy.

Presented to Business Plan that Best Addresses Economic Development Needs of Rural Nevada - $2,500 Prize

Clean Bean - University of Nevada, Reno (Graduate Students)

Business Description: Clean Bean recycles waste coffee that would otherwise be thrown away to create superior, natural soaps. Our soaps utilize the inherent characteristics of coffee oil to stand out from our competitors in the natural care industry. High concentrations of anti-oxidants, anti-septic and moisturizing properties, coupled with the invigorating essence of coffee, allow customers to experience cleanliness to the next level. Our business will be located outside Minden, NV, in close proximity to the Starbucks Roasting and Distribution plant.
