The University of Nevada at Las Vegas (CSUN) Consolidated Student Unit (FFLV) is a 100% privately funded nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of community partners to provide services. To achieve success, FFLV depends on major donations, corporate and individual donations and sponsorships, as well as support from foundations. Additionally, FFLV works in partnership with CCSD administrators, educators, and staff to maximize their efforts to reach students. Sponsors can be recognized at events held throughout the year, in marketing materials and in member communications. Sponsors can meet all of our philanthropic and community-centered women, as well as our partner nonprofit organizations.
Sponsors can receive logo recognition on the website as soon as they commit and enjoy maximum visibility throughout the year. Thanks to the generous support of established students at CSUN, Thinkability scholarships are available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. These positions give young women the responsibility, authority, ownership and experience that will improve their university applications, but also help them to develop as women in today's world. Chapters Las Vegas aims to foster mother-daughter relationships by serving their communities together. In an effort to help students provide them with a safe, quiet and accessible space, CSUN Consolidated Student Center at UNLV generously supports university libraries to expand library hours during final exams.
The Rebel Veterans Organization also works to support veterans and their military-related family members in their higher education pursuits. Creating educational connections inside and outside the classroom is a crucial part of the university experience. The Las Vegas chapter of the National Charity League was founded in 2003 by Laura Hobbs and Janice Stromberg. The FFLV offers in-person college access classes, individualized college counseling, experiential learning opportunities for students, and a program for parents to keep families informed and involved in their students' high school experience. In an effort to help mitigate the impact of high textbook costs on students, CSUN Consolidated Student Unit at UNLV generously supports university libraries to purchase the high-cost textbooks needed for high-enrollment courses.
